Robinson Crusoe is one of the composer’s lesser-known works and hasn’t been performed in France since 1986. This opéra-comique tells the tumultuous journey of the Crusoe family between Bristol and the Americas, blending lively tunes, irresistible dances, and powerful emotions. Lawrence Brownlee and Julie Fuchs, both stars of the opera world, take on these rarely performed roles.

Frank Bridge Variations: The virtuosic and nocturnal variations allow the bodies—in a dark atmosphere where shadow reveals its many shades—to sculpt the space with a virtuosity always in service of aesthetics.
5 Tangos: Now considered one of the finest detours taken by neoclassical dance, these pieces are a subtle blend of gravity and playfulness, demanding sharp precision while embracing the music of Astor Piazzolla.
