Following the success of their La Périchole, Marc Minkowski and Laurent Pelly reunite for another Offenbach gem. Robinson Crusoe is one of the composer’s lesser-known works and hasn’t been performed in France since 1986. This opéra-comique tells the tumultuous journey of the Crusoe family between Bristol and the Americas, blending lively tunes, irresistible dances, and powerful emotions. Sahy Ratia and Julie Fuchs, both stars of the opera world, take on these rarely performed roles.

Performance with audio description on Sunday, December 14 at 5:00 PM.
