Solo: Hans van Manen divides his dynamic Solo among three dancers in a tour de force that challenges the Ailey men's daring, agility, and grace. This explosive display of virtuosity and wit launches the performers into an exhilarating whirlwind of movement and musicality.
Frank Bridge Variations: The virtuosic and nocturnal variations allow the bodies—in a dark atmosphere where shadow reveals its many shades—to sculpt the space with a virtuosity always in service of aesthetics.
5 Tangos: Now considered one of the finest detours taken by neoclassical dance, these pieces are a subtle blend of gravity and playfulness, demanding sharp precision while embracing the music of Astor Piazzolla.
